Can't wait until 2025,
Thomas McGillivray 24.05.2018 13:09
I doubt they can read, understand & obey every road sign?
Thomas McGillivray 20.05.2018 12:35
Bad news for fully autonomous vehicles...some might find it worthwhile to look at just a couple of informative Youtube videos on this subject...."The self-driving car scam"...& "The terrifying truth about self-driving vehicles"
Baidu Mel 10.05.2018 23:05
Chinese self-driving car is superior than western countries technology . B T W , I'm an Indian
Slo Mo 18.05.2018 16:46
Baidu Mel. Fake Indian
Satyavan 26.04.2018 16:08
And this is supposed to be a "congested city"?? I think we have still a very long road to go until self-driving cars will become a reality.
One Man On Fire 26.04.2018 14:47
The self driving uber cars i see in San Francisco have to deal with hills, narrow roads, messed up roads, construction, and s shaped roads.
Thomas McGillivray 26.04.2018 09:55
How do the sensors work in snowy of foggy conditions & can they read, understand & obey every road sign....just to scratch the surface & for a start it might be worth looking at the Youtube video..."The self driving car scam"
Thomas McGillivray 13.06.2018 05:55
Jennifer...so what do the vehicles rely on then, to read the road?
Jennifer G 13.06.2018 05:49
Sensors are not cameras.
Thomas McGillivray 27.04.2018 03:12
I still don't seem to have my answers eh...that's probably because there isn't any?
Grzesiek Z 25.04.2018 19:00
Nice roads, clear lines, low traffic... please. Come to a place with narrow roads, unclear infrastructure and bad road surface - so most of this world. Driving requires human understanding, perception, precision and reflex.

LOL try comparing the first intel pc with current gen. As internet speed go up with 5g and more powerful chips handling it and more data are collected it will only get better. Proof of concept once achieved expansion is gradual and certain so long as the money keep rolling in.
Skyler827 26.04.2018 18:16
Eventually. Making a self driving car is probably a whole lot easier on roads like that than it is with poor infrastructure and chaotic/disorganized traffic. So I'm pretty sure the technology will be available in countries with god roads first.
Thomas McGillivray 26.04.2018 09:56
Absolutely !!
ro pro 24.04.2018 23:58
Lol, and how much of that tech was stolen or copied from companies like Tesla, Uber and Waymo?
Chris S 25.04.2018 01:45
Lol, and Tesla and Uber rank lower than Baidu in the self-driving race according to Navigant.
Atharva Pande 24.04.2018 17:20
Come to India ! If you are able to drive here you can drive anywhere in the world
Supporter van de Europese Unie 07.06.2018 20:28
Atharva Pande India has an overabundance of technicians and an overabundance of people that can't drive. However, autonomous cars need proper 4G, but their wireless internet sucks. https://timesofindia.com/business/india-business/4g-speed-in-india-slowest-in-world/articleshow/63021612.cms
Atharva Pande 20.05.2018 12:44
Thomas McGillivray yes ! Really the road has crazy people driving.
Thomas McGillivray 20.05.2018 12:36
Hell for self-driving vehicles?
Leo { The Dragon king } 26.04.2018 04:08
Atharva Pande true
K. K. 24.04.2018 15:35
Title sounds a little racist
S Su 10.12.2018 23:39
K. K. It does not sound racist to me. It's your own messed up head that connects it with racist concepts. Next time you see a Chinese grocery shop selling yellow bananna then you call it racist whilst other Chinese look at you with annoyance. Cos that's not racist. You're deliberately blurring the difference between real racism and something not related to it at all. I bet you are a white hateful troll who came here to start yo sh*t.
Handyman 26.04.2018 21:01
Thomas McGillivray It might have something to do with "racing".
Thomas McGillivray 26.04.2018 10:33
What joke la..what funny mah?
Matthew Van Loon 26.04.2018 10:29
Thomas McGillivray Hahaha, I think you missed the joke.
Thomas McGillivray 26.04.2018 09:58
No it dosn't...just simply saying its a great place, but not saying its better than some other or everywhere else.
Ebony 24.04.2018 15:09
This is where you go if your family just can't take it any more
Bennie Chen 24.04.2018 15:18
Ebony you are a racist!
